SEL in Rural School Districts

This year, we visit 11 schools and districts to capture best practices and models for successfully implementing the 7 Mindsets for social-emotional learning. Introducing Otis School District: a K-12 single-building district in the NE BOCES of Colorado, serving a remote, rural community (population 452). Now in its 3rd year implementing the 7 Mindsets, the Otis community thrives in part because they make the school the “hub of the community”.
