Submission Guidelines

Presentation Formats

Proposals for individual presentations, panel discussions, workshops, and interactive sessions are welcome.

Proposal Content

Submissions should include a title (suggested word limit no more than 10 words), abstract and learning objectives (100-word limit), intended audience, and a brief biography (100-word limit) of the presenter(s), headshot (PNG file).

Review Process

Proposals will be reviewed based on relevance to the conference themes, innovation, clarity, and potential impact on mindful practices.

Notification of Acceptance: March 15, 2024
Conference Dates: June 24-25, 2024

*If your conference proposal is accepted, registration for Mindsets University will be comped, as well as your room for 2 nights. Travel and any additional expenses will be the responsibility of the individual.

  • Best Practices in 7 Mindsets Implementation: Share successful programs, interventions, and teaching methods that have positively impacted students’ interpersonal skills, engagement, and overall well-being.

  • Equity and Mindsets-Based Learning: Explore how school-based initiatives can address educational disparities, promote inclusivity, and support the emotional well-being of diverse student populations.

  • Professional Development: Present approaches for equipping educators with the necessary skills and knowledge to integrate well-being and mental health into their teaching practices.

  • Mental Health: Discuss effective use of BASE resources and tools to support student mental health needs, from prevention through Tier 2 and 3 interventions.

  • Assessment and Continuous Improvement: Share successful uses of xSEL Labs’ assessment data to measure student progress and program effectiveness.

  • Districtwide/Schoolwide Implementation: Identify and highlight effective strategies for successful program implementation within school buildings and across districts.

  • Innovative Tools and Technologies: Showcase cutting-edge technologies, apps, and resources designed to enhance learning experiences inside and outside the classroom.

  • Supporting Diverse Learners: Examine tailored approaches for students with learning differences, addressing their unique emotional and social challenges.

  • Community and Family Engagement: Discuss collaborative efforts involving schools, families, and communities to create a supportive environment that fosters mindset-based skills in children.
