On Tuesday, May 6, National Teacher Day, during this year’s Teacher Appreciation Week, May 5-9, the 7 Mindsets team announced and celebrated our 2025 Educator of the Year winners!
This award recognizes seven individuals working in education—such as classroom staff, counselors, school resource officers, administration, custodial staff, and others—who consistently exemplify the mindsets in their work with students, colleagues, families, and the entire educational community. Nominated by colleagues for the Mindset they most embody, our seven winners were selected from nearly 100 nominations. All nominations required an explanation of how the individual modeled the Mindset for which they were nominated, and several of our winners received multiple nominations from their colleagues.
Congratulations to our winners, a remarkable group of inspiring individuals who embody the 7 Mindsets each and every day—leading with passion, living with purpose, and lifting up every student and colleague around them. These individuals’ commitment to mindsets-based empowerment is creating ripple effects in their schools and communities — cultivating connection, belonging, and the unwavering belief that everything is possible.
