In a previous blog, we announced our 2026 Ultimate Life Summit scholarship winners and shared information about the scholarships and selection process. Below we are excited to share more about our winners—in their own words and voices.
Unlimited Potential Scholarship Winners
Ben, age 17, St. Charles Parish Public Schools, Louisiana
As a student at Destrehan High School, Ben serves on the Principal’s Advisory Council, Superintendent’s Advisory Council, and as Executive Board Vice President of Student Council. He is currently in his second and final term as President of the National Beta Club. Along with being a school ambassador, he mentors younger students through the school’s Mentorship program. He is Vice President of the National English Honor Society. As an athlete, Ben is a competitive powerlifter and he play football. He also enjoys serving the community as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Khai, age 17, School District of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Liberty, age 17, St. Charles Parish Public Schools, Louisiana
Liberty Thomas is an upcoming senior at Destrehan High School. She serves as Senior Class President and Captain of the Pridettes and Swag Le’ Crew. Liberty loves volunteering and attending events her school hosts. She is an aspiring content creator; on her page, she shares her everyday life and unique experiences in New Orleans, Louisiana.

This scholarship has given me the flexibility to host my own community event which I did not have the means to do before. Since I am approaching my senior year, all funding is going towards me bettering my education in fall of 2027. Receiving this scholarship has allowed me to focus on making a meaningful impact, and I am incredibly grateful to be one of its recipients.”

Micah, age 17, Reynoldsburg City Schools, Ohio
Everything is Possible
Micah is a rising senior at Reynoldsburg High School. She is a scholar athlete who’s a member of the National Honor Society, varsity track team, Leo Club, and Chat and Chew, a student organization that follows the 7 Mindsets and teaches them to elementary and middle school students.
“I was ecstatic and incredibly grateful to receive the Everything Possible scholarship. I’m so thankful to everyone who believed in me. Attending ULS has given me the tools to improve my leadership skills and maintain a positive mindset. It also helped me to be more grateful for what I have. I met so many different people from all around the world and with different backgrounds. I heard so many inspiring stories that I will carry with me. I want to thank Mr. Scott, Ms. Grace, and the entire ULS team for providing us with this great opportunity.”
Daniel, age 16, Hillsborough County Public Schools, Florida
Passion First
At Leto High School, Daniel is part of VALOR, which is a class focused on leadership and growth through tutoring elementary school children and in partnership with the 7 Mindsets. He is active in other extracurriculars such as officer roles in his school’s AVID Club and Rho Kappa History Honor Society. He is also an active member of our school’s Principals Advisory Council and the National Honor Society.

Jace, age 16, Decatur Public Schools, Illinois
100% Accountable
“Receiving this scholarship means a lot to me. Going into ULS, I wasn’t expecting much, but after the first day I knew the people there would become a new family for me. The one value I try to live by and encourage others to live by is accountability. My parents made sure to try and drill that into me and my siblings, and it’s something that just stuck with me. When I was recognized for the 100% Accountable mindset, I remember realizing how much of an impact everyone I met that week had on me and knowing that I made an impact on them as well. That moment means a lot to me because it shows me the kind of community ULS can be for someone, It also showed me that I am doing something right. At my school, I’m a part of a club called Operation Calculus. It was created to provide extra help and tutoring for students with their math classes, so from time to time I help those students. The same teacher who started Operation Calculus is also responsible for our school’s National Honors Society, of which I am also a member. I am very grateful for this scholarship and opportunity.”

Attitude of Gratitude
Breck, age 17, Louisburg Unified School District 416, Kansas
Live to Give
Breck attends Louisburg High School in Louisburg, Kansas. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the President of WAVE (Wildcats Assisting and Valuing Everyone), and the Class of 2027 President in Student Council. Being the President of Wave, Breck helps lead the school’s Suicide Prevention Awareness month in September alongside another student. Breck plays volleyball for both the high school and club teams, for which he had the privilege of being team captain for both my varsity high school team and my club volleyball team, and competes in track and field. After graduation, Breck plans to attend Baker University, where he will continue his academic and athletic career playing volleyball.
“Receiving the Live to Give scholarship means that not only do my closest friends and family see my passion to help and give to others, but so do the other people around me who don’t know me as well. To receive this award from someone who truly lives through the mindsets and is so passionate about Live to Give is a great honor. I’ve always had a heart for serving others, and one of the main ways I express my care for people is by helping them. However, the Live to Give mindset has an even deeper meaning for me. When I was seven years old, my dad passed away from Stage 4 colon cancer. Because of that experience, the Mindsets ‘Live to Give’ and ‘The Time Is Now’ have always gone hand in hand for me. It taught me the importance of living in the moment, appreciating the people around you, and never taking time with loved ones for granted, because life can change in an instant. That experience also inspired me to pursue a career in healthcare, where I hope to care for and help others every day. Winning this scholarship is an impactful reminder that giving back to the world and investing in the people around you always makes a difference. I hope to continue living this mindset and never lose sight of the impact that even small acts of kindness can have.”
Celi, age 18, Hillsborough County Public Schools, Florida
The Time is Now
“A week ago, I walked into the Ultimate Life Summit hoping to learn something new. I left with so much more than I ever expected. Throughout the week, I was surrounded by people who challenged me to dream bigger, believe in myself, and trust that my purpose is greater than my fears. Every speaker, activity, and conversation reminded me that my future is not determined by where I come from, but by the choices I make and the faith I have to keep moving forward.
“The Summit reignited something in me. It taught me to stop waiting for the “perfect moment” and instead take the next step with confidence. I was encouraged to lead with integrity, serve others, and believe that I have been created for a purpose. At the end of this incredible week, I was blessed with a scholarship. Receiving it was more than just financial support; it was confirmation that hard work, perseverance, and faith are seen. It reminded me that when you continue to show up, give your best, and trust God’s timing, He opens doors that you could never open on your own. This scholarship is not the finish line; it’s the beginning of a new chapter. It gives me the opportunity to continue pursuing my dreams with less financial burden and even more determination. I don’t take this blessing for granted, and I pray that I use it to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I am incredibly grateful to everyone who made the Ultimate Life Summit possible. The mentors, leaders, sponsors, and volunteers who poured into us all week. Thank you for believing in young people and investing in our futures.
“To anyone reading this: Never underestimate what one week, one opportunity, or one act of faith can do. Keep showing up. Keep believing. Keep trusting God’s plan, even when you can’t see the whole path. The right doors will open at the right time. This week gave me more than a scholarship.
