A Journey of Growth and Connection: 7 Mindsets Visits School Partners in Wisconsin
This spring, our 7 Mindsets team visited partner schools across Wisconsin—from April 29 through May 1—and witnessed firsthand the inspiring work happening through mindset-based learning. What our team experienced were districts deeply committed to student empowerment, leadership, and community.
Merrill High School: April 29
At Merrill High School, now in its second year of implementing 7 Mindsets, the focus on leadership and connection was palpable. Students participated in community-building activities, stepping into leadership roles as part of a structured effort to help them grow into confident, capable changemakers. We were especially inspired by the student feedback we received—honest, thoughtful, and constructive—on how our platform and curriculum are impacting both learners and teachers. Their input will help shape the future of 7 Mindsets.

Prairie River Middle School: April 29
At Prairie River, energy and creativity filled the room. Students engaged in fun, team-focused activities like the human knot and non-verbal group challenges. Through mindset-themed stations, they explored ways to bring each mindset to life—brainstorming ideas like TikTok challenges and positive school décor. Their desire for more icebreakers and hands-on lessons reminded us that authentic engagement comes from ownership and joy.
Beloit Learning Academy & District Planning: April 30
On April 30, we visited Beloit Learning Academy (BLA), where select students have been participating in a public speaking course with a unique purpose: to lead 7 Mindsets lessons at the middle-school level. These student leaders didn’t just deliver the lessons—they owned them. They selected topics, prepared presentations, and guided their peers, embodying the mindset that “Everything is Possible.”
That same day, the 7 Mindsets team met with leaders from four Beloit, WI, campuses to align vision and strategy for the 2025–26 school year. Topics ranged from professional development needs to the upcoming launch of 7 Mindset Foundations, our flexible new curriculum focused on helping students fully understand and internalize each mindset.

Fruzen and Aldrich Middle Schools
Fruzen and Aldrich Middle Schools: May 1
Our final day in Wisconsin wrapped up in a powerful display of student-to-student leadership. At both Fruzen and Aldrich Middle Schools, more than 150 sixth-grade students gathered to experience 7 Mindsets lessons facilitated by the BLA student leaders. Seeing young learners engage deeply with content—led by their slightly older peers—was a full-circle moment in mindset-based empowerment. The excitement was contagious, and the connections built were meaningful.
Why These Moments Matter
Every school visited in Wisconsin is nurturing a culture where students and educators feel seen, heard, and inspired. These visits reinforced what we know to be true: when schools prioritize mindset-based learning, they cultivate leadership, resilience, and belonging at every level.
Whether through student voice initiatives, district-level planning, or creative group activities, our school partners in Wisconsin are a model of what happens when mindset-based education is embraced district-wide. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from—and grow with—this amazing community.
Together, we’re not just delivering lessons. We’re building thriving learning communities—one mindset at a time.
