Dr. Byron McClure, Director of Innovation at 7 Mindsets and founder of Lessons4SEL, presented his keynote, “A Time to Reflect and Renew,” at the 2022 New York Association of School Psychologists – NYASP Annual Conference. In an interview following the keynote, Byron reflected on the important work of school psychologists: “One of the most important things I hope people walk away with is recognizing and understanding that we can make a difference. That the work we’re doing as school psychologists is difficult, it’s complex, it’s nuanced, but it can be meaningful. It can be impactful in the lives of young students we work with.”
