From Mindset Shifts to Movement: Live to Give Projects

Meet Camila Deras, a young leader from Honduras who once struggled with shyness and self-doubt. Growing up, she found it difficult to express herself and connect with others. But everything changed when she discovered the 7 Mindsets. Camila is the founder of an exceptional program that imparts communication and leadership skills to underserved students in Honduras. For Mia Toribio, baking isn’t just a passion, it’s a tool for connection, empowerment, and transformation. Combining her love for making chocolate chip cookies with a deep desire to uplift her community, Mia created a Live to Give project that brings hands-on baking workshops to students in deaf schools and orphanages in the Dominican Republic.

Mia’s project embodies two of her favorite 7 Mindsets. We Are Connected: bridging the gap between communities, showing that inclusion and collaboration empower everyone. Live to Give: Teaching young people that they can create opportunities for themselves and others through shared passions.

For Lluvia Martinez, education is the greatest gift you can give a child. At just 16 years old, she turned her passion for entrepreneurship and youth empowerment into a Live to Give project that is helping children in underserved communities dream big and take action. She believes that empowering children with knowledge is the key to breaking cycles of poverty and unlocking new opportunities. After attending the Ultimate Life Summit, she knew she had to create something bigger than herself—and BizKids was born.

Lluvia’s project, BizKids, is a beautifully crafted booklet designed to teach young people the fundamentals of starting their own businesses. Her mission? To show children that Everything is Possible—no matter where they come from or how they were raised.
